Transformers 3 Release Date Is Announced

Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.

Let's just hope he doesn't put in any more dumb ass robots with gold teeth and act like retards. And no more robots with their you know whats hanging. And will our good friend Michael PapaJohn Be getting more screen time as Megan's father in the movie?

Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I'm flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.

P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Reading between the lines it feels to us like Bay is trying to publicly let Fox know he's read her BS statements about him in the news, isn't amused and wants her to shut up and get back to work. You may recall Fox was quoted comparing the auteur to Hitler, leading some anonymous "crew members" to accuse her of being a rude diva, leading Bay to say, no, really, she's great, I love her. Whatever.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy.
