Vampire Diaries Scores Big For The CW
The CW's newest hit, "The Vampire Diaries," debuted to 4.9 million viewers last week, making it the highest rated premiere in the network's history... but still, I know there are a few of you who haven't yet seen it.The second episode airs this evening at 8 p.m. and I encourage you to give it a shot. A couple days ago. Kevin Williamson is best known as the man behind "Dawson's Creek" and the "Scream" movies.
The Vampire Diaries is a TV drama filmed in Covington, Georgia, based on the book series of the same name by L. J. Smith. The plot revolves around Elena Gilbert, a young heroine who is the object of passion for two vampire brothers—one good, one evil—who are at war for her heart and for the souls of her friends, family and all the residents of the small town of Mystic Falls, Virginia.
The series premiered on The CW on Thursday, September 10, 2009, It will be paired with Supernatural as part of a horror-themed night.
